December 2nd Christmas Trees!

I love Christmas Trees.  It's not the piney scent (ours is fake) or the pretty green needles decorated with garland and lights (the lights are already built in), though that helps.  For us, it is a celebration of Jesus Christ that matters.  The tree is something beautiful to do honor to Jesus.

I have decided to hark back to a simpler time with regards to my nail art.  This tree is not yet chosen and cut...but it is waiting to be chosen, just as we were chosen by God.

First, I started with Above The Curve's Fallen Angel. Seemed somehow appropriate...

Then, I added the snow.  Over the snow, I added a thin layer of my personally made franken holographic glitter top coat.  I love a snow theme and snow on Christmas morning is something that most of us look forward to or wish would happen for our own Christmas mornings (depending on where you live, you might not get snow, I'm sorry.).  :(

Next, I added a dusting of snow on the "branches".

Lastly, I added a strategically placed star in white with silver overlay that isn't really ON the tree, but appears off to the side.  You cannot help but notice the similarity of this star to another famous star.

I then coated all in one layer of HK Top Coat.

SO, is it pretty, cute or just a plain old "hot mess".  You be the judge.  :D   I have only just been working out how to free-hand paint trees of various types on my nails, so this is a new nail art level for me here today.  :D  No nail tape here.  :D
